Introducing Awa. This new season collection represents the emerald green rivers ofTe Tai Poutini (West Coast of South Island), a place dear to our whānau. We have combined our very own art glass and recycled components to make these special new jewellery pieces.
This necklace consists of a genuine vintage sixpence coin (featuring our beloved and now extinct huia) set in a simple brass bezel, surrounded by a circular filigree setting. A river green glass teardop, handcrafted by us, hangs from the bottom of the setting. The pendant is strung on a 60cm antique silver chain (the chain can be extended free of charge if requested). Art glass has been made by Selma through the process of lampwork.
The chain is made from brass and plated in silver. Settings are also made from brass. All components have undergone an antiquing process. All components are lead, nickel, and cadmium free.
