These flowers are close to my heart, as they remind me of my first home, Fiji. A hibiscus hedge surrounded the entirety of our front and backyard. Thus in my work, I have tried to capture the familiarity of the form, vibrant colours and the overall beauty of these unique flowers.
Our bouquets come in three different sizes so you can choose your favourite option. Please note that the vase is not included.
Under the high heat of a specialised torch, glass has been melted and sculpted into flowers and leaves, through the process of lampwork. Complex techniques have been used to form realistic forms. Every piece has been made by Selma in her studio. Stems are 9cm long and full blooms are approximately 28-32mm in diameter. Buds are around 20mm.
Please note that these flowers are made to order, and take between 5 to10 business days to make.
